2020 Toyota Supra unveiled at Detroit Auto Show 2019 and that is after 17 years! This is the fifth generation GR Supra which looks as much sexy as before this many years. You should take a look at this whose design has been inspired by Calty’s FT-1 Concept and is the first ever model developed by Toyota GAZOO Racing in Japan while also taking inputs from Toyota Motor North America and Toyota Europe. Having the nostalgic look, it also has low-hood, sweeping headlamp and gaps for air-intake in the center front grill.

Supra will be offered in two variants the 3.0 and the 3.0 Premium. Here I tell you that the launch model will be based on 3.0 Premium. It will have 3.0 litre 6 cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged engine that makes 335 bhp and 495 Nm of peak torque. It is fitted with 8-speed automatic transmission which combined give 0-100 in just 4.1 sec and a top speed of 250kmph. Hence it becomes the fastest Toyota vehicle till the date. It got two driving modes- Normal and Sport. It has a double bubble roof for aerodynamic optimization and a perfect 50-50% weight distribution.

If you see the cabin, you will find the buttons and knob that is quite the same as the BMWs. The driver focussed cabin has HD instrumental cluster having single meter design and colored head-up display. A rotary knob beside the gear shifter controls the 6.5-inch infotainment system.

Toyota will begin deliveries of the Supra in the next few months. The sale will start in the USA, to begin with, and then go on to other markets but not likely to come to India.
